HSBC UAE is the first international provider of DCC services to foreign clients in the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) and the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) in 2001 and 2006 respectively building the links to the local exchanges. HSBC commenced offering services on the Nasdaq Dubai Limited (formerly Dubai International Financial Exchange) in November 2005, shortly after Nasdaq Dubai opened for trading in September 2005. HSBC is the first international General Clearing Member to join the DFM market, enabling us to provide clearing and settlement services to our clients and to other DFM trading members.
