HSBC Saudi Arabia is the leading provider of custody services in Saudi Arabia since 2001. We have a majority of Qualified Foreign Investors (QFIs) currently operating in the market and have several 'firsts' including having settled the first SBL trade going back to the first QFI trade in Saudi Arabia. We have a leading position with domestic Saudi Arabian clients as well with 7/10 largest Saudi Arabian Asset Managers using our custody services. HSBC works very closely with the Capital Market Authority (CMA) and market authorities in Saudi Arabia to facilitate many of the changes that are critical for the market's continued development. The Head of Securities Services is the current Chairperson of the CMA Custody Committee in Saudi Arabia.
